Eli S. Levine, MD
Dr. Eli S. Levine is a triple board-certified interventional cardiologist with years of clinical experience. He is the President of Advanced Heart & Vascular Institute in Boca Raton, Florida, which he founded in 2015.
Dr. Levine performed his undergraduate studies in Psychobiology at UCLA. He completed medical school at Ross University School of Medicine, where he graduated with honors. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine, where he performed extensive clinical research in cardiac molecular imaging. He went on to perform a Nuclear Cardiology and Advanced Cardiac Imaging fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. While at Yale, he was mentored by the pioneers of nuclear cardiac imaging and stress testing, Drs. Barry Zaret and Frans Wackers. He then went on to complete his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine. During this fellowship, he focused on the treatment of patients with heart failure and transplant. He finally completed his extensive specialty training at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, performing a high-volume Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular Surgery fellowship program.
Dr. Levine founded Advanced Heart & Vascular Institute to be able to give the specialized attention that his patients deserve without interference from corporations that employ a lot of doctors today. He is now one of the highest volume cardiac interventional operators in the country performing a wide array of complex coronary and peripheral vascular interventional procedures. He is also extensively involved in resident and medical student education at FAU School of Medicine.
Dr. Levine’s philosophy is to treat each patient as his own family, especially since his close family has been impacted by heart disease.
In a very short period of time in South Florida, Dr. Levine has won multiple honors and awards, including the Castle Connolly Top Interventional Cardiologist every year since 2019, Boca Magazine's Top Doc award since 2020, Delray Magazine's Top Doc award since 2021, and the Boca Raton Observer magazine’s Top Doc award every year since these rankings began.
